Clock Products
NetTimeLogic provides some general clock related products to get the most out of the synchronization cores. Normally synchronization is only a small part of a complete system and a synchronized clock without interaction with user logic is most likely of limited use. Therefore, NetTimeLogic provides signal generators and signal timestampers to interact with user logic aligned with a synchronized clock.
Adjustable Clock
The adjustable clock from NetTimeLogic is a counter clock that can be adjusted with offset and drift corrections to follow another clock. It generates the time and an aligned millisecond event. The adjustable clock is used by all synchronization cores fromNetTimeLogic but can also be used as standalone clock for other purposes.
Signal Generator
The signal generator from NetTimeLogic allows to generate frequencies and pulses (PWM) aligned with a synchronized clock. This can be used to trigger simultaneous events in distributed systems e.g. distributed controls or robotics
Signal Timestamper
The signal timestamper from NetTimeLogic allows to timestamp events with a synchronized clock together with user data. This can be used to log events in distributed systems e.g. distributed data acquisition
FrequencY Generator
The frequency generator from NetTimeLogic allows to generate any frequency between 1Hz and 10MHz in 1Hz steps aligned with a synchronized clock. This can be used as a refrence e.g. for e.g. telecom equipment or other distributed systems
